Three Nzema kitchens

Delicacies

No shared menu, no shared fire. Every Nzema table cooks to the place that surrounds it — ocean, river and harbour.

The Nzema pantry

Brought whole,
served without fuss.

A kitchen here does not print “concepts”. It begins with the day’s catch, the market’s garden, the river’s herbs, and asks what that ingredient wants. Nzema hands, one care.

What Nzema eats

Seven dishes that say Nzema — pounded, fermented, simmered. Tap Order Now to see the Esiama tables that cook it, and what each charges.

What the land
and water bring.

Tilagía from the ocean, sardinella from the Atlantic — cassava and plantain from the farm road, palm oil and dawadawa. The market decides the menu. Any bottle you need is cold; any drink you want is there.

  • Morning: koko, koose and fresh bread along the market road.
  • Midday: fufu or konkonte with light soup — ask, the kitchen will make it.
  • Evening: grilled fish on the shore, palm by the fire.

Where to eat

The town feeds you.

No reservations to chase. Walk to the market square, sit at a chop bar, or tell the Palace desk which household should keep a table for you — they will.
